Description
These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups are the perfect blend of peanut butter and chocolate, offering a delicious twist on traditional cookies.
Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Optional: pinch of sea salt for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix until smooth.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place it into a mini muffin tin and press down gently to form a cup shape.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are soft.
Once removed from the oven, press the center down gently with the back of a spoon to form a deeper cup.
Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips into each cookie cup while they’re still warm, allowing them to melt into the center.
Let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
(Optional) Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cup for an extra touch of flavor.
Notes
If you prefer a thicker cookie cup, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
